Steven Tyler is not quitting Aerosmith

I had a post before of rumors that Steven Tyler is quitting Aerosmith. But Aerosmith fans should be happy about this breaking news. Steven Tyler is not quitting Aerosmith. Steven Tyler says he isn't leaving the band. Tyler made a surprise appearance with guitarist Joe Perry and his band at a New York City venue recently, Tyler told the crowd: "I am not leaving Aerosmith"

The appearance seemed to put an end to speculation about the bands future. The 61 year old Tyler was injured when he fell of a stage during a performance in South Dakota last August, and the band cancelled the remainder of its summer tour.

Taylor Swift is Entertainer of the Year

This blond beauty is simply amazing at an early age of 19 she is now the youngest to win the Country Music Association Award for Entertainer of the Year. Swift quickly shed her opener status and shook up the music world with an incredible year that included the best selling album, a concert tour that sold out almost immediately.

The CMA more than often 5,000 members often cited as a conservative bunch seemed as taken with Swift as the rest of the music world has been. She won for all four awards for which she ws nominated, snapping Kenny Chesney's streak of four entertainer wins in the last five years and Carrie Underwoods three year run as top female vocalist.

Chesney hugged and kissed Swift on her way to the stage and most of her peers hailed her Wednesday night during the ABC telecast at the Sommet Center.

"She has taken the music world by storm," Paisley said. "She's the biggest artist in music right now, by far. It's hands down. She's entertainer of the year in country music, no doubt, and I'm really proud of her."

Winona Ryder has no grudge with Angelina Jolie

Winona Ryder(Reality Bites, Girl Interrupted) is not holding any grudges toward Angelina Jolie, even though she says the star never thanked her for helping her win an Oscar for their 1999 mental hospital drama Girl Interrupted.

"I feel like it won't read in print very nicely if i say that wasn't really her style," Ryder, 38, tells Blackbook magazine's December issue. "but she seems to be a completely different person now."

Ryder, who was the film's lead star and executive producer, says that she "never had any bad feelings about" Jolie, 34.

"I was hurt that people thought that," she says. "Everyone assumed i was really jealous because i thought this would be my vehicle. We said from the very beginning that the actress who played Lisa would probably win an Oscar, because it was the big, great, showy part. But i always realted to Susanna.."

In fact, she says she "fought very hard" for Jolie to get the part of Lisa. Ryder has also said that at the time they worked together, she actually felt bad for Jolie because she as still struggling to be taken seriously as an actress despite her "beautiful" looks.

Her only regret?

"I never really felt like i got the chance to know her," Ryder says.
